CABBAGE-APPLE COLESLAW

4 cups shredded cabbage

2 cups diced Red Delicious apples, with skins left on

1 cup small curd cottage cheese

½  cup Hellmann’s mayonnaise

1 ½  tablespoons lemon juice

Salt to taste.

 

Shred cabbage.  Dice apples and place in 1 quart of  water with 1 tablespoon lemon juice added.

Drain apples and add cabbage.

Mix remaining ingredients in.

Chill and serve.
